Insurance
For the past twenty years, as a self-employed business owner, I never thought much about my health insurance. All I cared about was how much my monthly premium was. Why should I care about anything else? My kids were healthy, and I was healthy. That all changed during the great snow apocalypse. My son was diagnosed with Crohn's and subsequently spent four days in the hospital. I was lucky! I didn't know it then, but it turned out that I had excellent health insurance.
But while in the hospital the questions I had, the thoughts that ran through my head, the feelings I had, motivated me to get my insurance license. I don't want anyone to feel alone when an unexpected medical emergency arises. We now offer individual, family and small group health insurance plans.
